2014 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon in Amp'd yellow with Baja Designs lighting and Warn winch

Amp'd Rubicon

Built to crawl. Ready for its next adventure.

Not a sticker build.

Factory Trail Rated. Then we got serious.

This four-door Rubicon was built as a serious rock crawler and barely used since. Factory Amp'd over tan, a professional MoTech V8 conversion at 30k, and the axle, suspension, and armor package to back it up. Low-mile chassis. Real hardware.

Sitting more than it's crawling. This Jeep is just begging for its next adventure!

Hit the rocks. Fill the tank. Drive it home. On-road or off — this beast runs and rides like it means it.

On the rocks

Jeep stamped Trail Rated. The rocks confirmed it.

Long-travel suspension, Currie axles, and 40s putting a tire in the air where it belongs. This is the Jeep doing the work the hardware was chosen for.

Powertrain

MoTech LT1 V8 Premium Kit + 8-speed

Chevrolet Performance LT1 crate (6.2L Gen V V8), factory-rated 455 hp / 455 lb-ft, MOTECH Tuned to 496 hp / 496 lb-ft! Paired with a GM 8L90 eight-speed. Installed by MoTech Premium Conversions in Las Vegas at about 30,000 miles — roughly 10,700 miles on the swap. Advance Adapters Atlas transfer case. PSC hydraulic steering assist for the 40s.

The build

Chassis, armor & trail gear

Each line lists what’s on the Jeep, a short note drawn from how the manufacturer talks about the product, and a link so you can dig deeper.

  • Axles

Currie Extreme 60 front · Currie RockJock 70 full-float rear

Currie’s 1-ton crate axles for severe off-road use with big tires and V8 horsepower — reinforced housings, chromoly shafts, and a RockJock 70 rear built as their full-float crawler axle for 40s and serious torque.

  • Gears

    5.38 axle gears

Deep final-drive ratio matched to 40" tires — more crawl control in low range without asking the V8 to lug.

  • Lockers

ARB front and rear Air Lockers

ARB’s driver-controlled air lockers — open-diff manners on the street, then instant 100% axle lock at the flick of a switch when you need traction.

  • Suspension

EVO / Off Road Evolution Double Throwdown long-travel coilover and bypass

EVO’s Double Throwdown pairs King coilovers with bypass shocks for position-sensitive damping and big vertical wheel travel — built for guys who crawl slow and still want to go fast when the trail opens up.

  • Sway bars

    Currie AntiRock front and rear

Currie’s competition-style AntiRock torsion bars stay connected on the trail, balancing weight across all four tires for more consistent traction without disconnecting like a stock bar.

  • Tires

    40" Mickey Thompson mud terrains

Mickey Thompson’s mud-terrain footprint — race-proven sidewall toughness and bite for rock, dirt, and the kind of trails that punish lesser rubber.

  • Armor

Poison Spyder fenders, sliders & body armor

Poison Spyder trail armor — high-clearance fenders and body protection built to take rock strikes so the sheet metal doesn’t have to.

  • Bumpers

    GenRight front & rear

GenRight — “Genuine Ideas Engineered Right” — race-bred Jeep armor and bumpers developed from Ultra4 competition and built for real trail abuse.

  • Cage

    Rock Hard 4x4 roll cage

Rock Hard’s bolt-in sport cage — a patented locking-collar design that strengthens the cabin and gives occupants the kind of protection trail Jeeps are supposed to have.

  • Steps

    Rock-Slide Engineering steps

Rock-Slide step-sliders — rocker protection that doubles as a usable step, so you get trail armor without climbing the tires every time you get in.

  • Winch

    Warn winch with wireless controller

Warn — the industry standard for vehicle recovery. Go prepared: pull yourself (or a buddy) out when the trail says otherwise, with wireless control from outside the cab.

  • Air

    ARB dual onboard compressor

ARB’s dual onboard compressor — the air supply behind the Air Lockers, plus enough volume for airing tires up and down on the trail.

  • Welder

Premier Power Welder onboard welding system

Premier Power’s under-hood welding system — ARC, TIG, and MIG capability from the vehicle so trail fixes don’t wait for a shop.

  • Lighting

sPOD-controlled Baja Designs — A-pillar, windshield, bumper, and magnetic rock lights

Baja Designs — the “Scientists of Lighting,” race-proven LEDs for Baja and beyond — switched cleanly through an sPOD accessory panel so every circuit is one button away.

  • Audio

Alpine head unit · JL Audio speakers throughout

Alpine touchscreen control up front, JL Audio speakers through the cabin — clear, trail-capable sound that still holds up with the top off.

  • Finish

    Amp'd exterior · tan interior · color-matched hardtop

Factory Jeep Amp’d yellow over tan — a rare OEM color combo, kept clean with a color-matched hardtop.
